Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of HireBee. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. This is a general template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before relying on it.
1.Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using HireBee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using HireBee on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2.The service
HireBee is an async video interview platform that lets employers post jobs, invite candidates via unique links, and review recorded video answers in a review pipeline. We may add, change or remove features over time.
3.Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to create an employer account. Candidates do not need an account to record answers.
4.Plans, billing and cancellation
HireBee offers a Free plan, a Pro plan billed at R899 per month, and a custom Enterprise plan. Paid subscriptions are processed through Paystack and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use HireBee for any unlawful or discriminatory purpose.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is harmful, misleading or infringing.
- Attempt to access data belonging to other accounts or candidates.
- Disrupt, reverse-engineer or circumvent the security of the platform.
6.Your content
You retain ownership of the jobs, questions and candidate submissions associated with your account. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process this content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for handling candidate data lawfully, including obtaining any consents required for recording.
7.Intellectual property
HireBee and its underlying software, branding and design are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other brand features.
8.Disclaimers
HireBee is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will meet every requirement.
9.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HireBee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10.Termination
You may stop using HireBee at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm HireBee, other users or candidates.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of HireBee after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
